Each piece I create is unique, so you can be sure that there will be no other quite like it.
Much of my work has a distinctly Celtic feel. While my designs are often influenced by my Welsh roots and the beautiful Monmouthshire countryside, my inspiration can just as easily come from simple shapes and textures, and of course YOU, the individual for whom I’m making.
As well as necklaces, bangles, bracelets, rings, brooches and earrings, I also create unique keepsakes to commemorate that special occasion: birthday, new baby, christening, graduation or wedding. And for men there are cufflinks, tie clips, rings and chains – all hand made by me.
In my former life I was a food writer, enjoying a wonderful, varied career. Then several years ago I began attending silver jewellery workshops at The Court Cupboard Craft Gallery, near Abergavenny, and I haven’t looked back since. I soon became a member of the Black Mountains Circle of artists and makers and exhibited at the gallery until recently. These days my commission work takes up much of my time and interest. I’m proud to be a member of the Association for Contemporary Jewellery, and of Made in Monmouthshire.
As you will see, my range of jewellery is eclectic…and that’s the way I like it! I work mainly with sterling silver and my hallmark is applied at the Birmingham Assay Office.
You are invited to browse through the picture galleries. If you are tempted by anything, please contact me and I can let you know if the piece is still available and its price. If you don’t see what you want, again please contact me and I would be delighted to make something especially for you. Be assured, there is never any obligation to buy, even after I have made it…I’m confident that if you don’t love it, someone else will!
